Honaker Funeral Home, Inc. - Slidell Obituary

Patrick Joseph Moore, age 73, of Slidell, LA passed away on October 27, 2022.

He was the son of Leon Moore and Violet Haddad. The brother to Leon, Mike, Johnny, & Nicky Moore. Pat was the husband of Judy King, father of Joshua (Rebecca) and Alyssa Moore, and grandfather to Reagan Michelle Moore.

Saying that Pat was a challenging man to deal with is putting it as politely as one could. However, if you knew Pat he put on a gruff exterior, but he had the biggest heart of anyone you could ever meet. He would always speak what he felt to be true, which is the characteristic that will be missed most about him. You always knew Pat was gonna be Pat, whether you liked it or not, he was one of a kind and will be eternally missed.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at The Carr Drive Firehouse in Slidell, LA. (267 Debbie Dr. Slidell, LA) The event will begin at 2pm.

Arrangements by Honaker Funeral Home, Inc., Slidell, LA.

I will certainly miss Pat Moore.
Pat and I became friend’s way back when we first started working together in 1970.
Pat could come off as gruff to many but that man had a heart of gold! For some reason Pat took me under his wing. I learned that you could be a stern and then, with just a blink of an eye become a fun loving jokester.
Pat always had your back and could be the most caring and thoughtful person the world has ever seen.
Through the years he always kept in...
