I'm very sorry to hear of your Dad's death (after the fact). I'll always remember him as being "there" but staying unobtrusively in the background. If you needed him, he'd be there.
When I think of him or your Mom, I always picture the three plates over the kitchen table, Pat, Lorna and Gail. I guess that's a permanent memory, and a very nostalgic and pleasant one. I'm sorry for your loss. Please do know I care.
