Dear Joellen,
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, and love leaves a memory no one can steal. I'm shocked by Pat's death and profoundling sadden. My memories will keep Pat close to my heart and a smile on my face. As a Hospice Volunteer I'm faced with death often. And give comfort to families during their time of sorrow. But when death comes to our own front door, the words escape me. Time will heal your pain, and memories will keep Pat alive in your heart.
God Bless
Barenda

To all of those who knew and loved my husband, Pat: Please know that he cherished and loved all of you, even though he had some unique ways of showing it. His mother, JoEllen, and I would love to hear from you, especially your thoughts and memories.

Pat, how can I say goodbye? You were supposed to just "always be around". The memory of "our village" aka Santa Villa will forever be changed. You were such a constant in my life. I thought I had two brothers. You and Fred always in to something... always. You guys showed the rest of us the way. I can't say goodbye.

JoEllen, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Pat well and think fondly of him when I remember how in our High School years, he would walk to my house and we would sit on my Dad's car and talk till the sun set and because of spelling similarities in our names we were always sitting next to each other during school. JoEllen, I keep you in my prayers.

I'll never forget our Christmas adventure to Michigan in 1972 nor all our raucous motorcycle rides and camping trips while growing up in Pace. Goodbye dear friend, we'll see you in a few more miles.

Debbie,
We have been praying so hard for both you and Patrick these past weeks. I so believe in miracles and was still praying for one up until the end. I guess God needed him more. We are so sorry for your loss. If there is anything we can do please call us. With Love, Bonnie and Frank

Where to begin? I know I speak for the entire Santa Villa Gang (Dennis, Chuck, Lowell and me) when I say I can't remember not knowing Pat. He and I shared each others life and family as brothers. He will always be a constant in my life as a courageous, adventuresome, and giving friend. Our loss is God's gain.

It is hard to imagine that little "Patty Mosher" is gone. He was at our home so much of the time I was growing up in Santa Villa. I know my brother, Fred Odom, felt that Pat was truly his brother. We loved him. My 2 sons grew up on "Pat/Fred" Adventure Stories. When they first met Pat they said they were amazed that he was REAL. They thought Uncle Fred was just telling them tales. Yes, Dus & Drew there really was a Patty Mosher! God Bless his family.

JOELLEN, I AM SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF PAT'S DEATH. I STILL REMEMBER WHEN HE WOULD COME IN THE OFFICE OR YOU WOULD TALK ON THE PHONE TO HIM AND YOU CALLED HIM "PATTY". HE WAS ALWAYS SUCH AN ADORABLE PERSON AND I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU AND THE FAMILY DURING THE COMING DAYS. MAY GOD POUR OUT HIS LOVE AND STRENGTH DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.

With deepest sympathies. Pat was a wonderful person who personified "Southern Hospitality". He was a warm and kind man. Debbie and Aunt JoEllen...you are in my prayers..as is Pat. I wish I could be there to help you through these difficult times. Pat will truly be missed by everyone who's lives he touched. May God strengthen you during these difficult times. Oh the memories I have of dear old Pat! I haven't seen him in years, but still tell stories or make references to him from time to time.
Certain songs remind me of him and make me smile and too many memories to mention, just crack me up! He was a fantastic cook during many of our gang's fishing trips, campouts, and fish fries, and we appreciated the fish he caught and fed to us as well.
I'm so sorry many of us who loved him dearly, lost touch with him and were oblivious to his poor health. My heart goes out to his family and friends!
Hope to c-ya in the clouds one day "Romper Room" man!
Love,
Robin
