My sincere condolences. He was my chief at the Illiana VA for almost 6 years, until I left to work in TX last October. Funny with a great sense of humor. He was a great man to work with and to serve under. My fondest memory of him was this one time in surgery, I tried to remove a screw but OR did not have the proper screw driver for me to do so. I struggled for awhile, next thing I knew, he came in all scrubbed, used a plier looking thing and within minutes the screw came out intact. Amazing....
