I remember first meeting Pat over 50 years ago. He was always optimistic with a joyful attitude. I can hear his voice full of laughter as he looked for a parking place since his car could only go forward. Or when he came to my parents´ house before our wedding. We drove from Dayton to upstate New York. As we pulled into my parents´ driveway, he saw a white clapboard structure and said what a house! Then Dennis replied that´s only the garage.
