Patrick K. O'Connor

Mr. O'Connor was not only my high school physics teacher but also a true mentor and source of inspiration. His kindness, dedication, and encouragement shaped the path that led me to pursue a PhD in Robotics/engineering. He will always remain one of my favorite teachers, and I will honor his memory by including his name in my thesis. Though he is no longer with us, his guidance and influence will always live on in my thoughts and work.

Mr. O'Connor was my high school physics teacher. His passion for teaching and his ability to explain the inner workings of the universe around us was inspirational. Pat was adventurous and always in team sports shirts - his collection matched each of his grandkids´ teams & his own favorites. Pat encouraged me to run the Cherry Blossom with him, which turned into several races for me later. PopPop Pat lived life right.

I had Mr. O'Connor as my high school physics teacher at Sherwood high back in the 1990s. He went above and beyond to help his students succeed. In my senior year he volunteered to teach an extra class so myself and a handful of others could take AP physics (this is a bigger deal than it sounds).
