Not sure what to say?

Father O´Malley was my 1st male mentor at age 18. We met when he served at St. James Catholic Church in Chicago. He aided me in my transition to Christ, giving me a New Testament entitled "Good News For Modern Man." Here it is 52 years later, having served as a pastor for 31 years and the impression he left still lingers. Thank you Lord for a true man of God.

Very Sorry to just find out about Father Pat's passing... We were honored to have him Officiate at our Wedding Oct. 8, 1988 He also was instrumental in gaining permission to have our wedding photos taken at St. Mary of the Lake Seminary. Unforgettable God be With You ! Bill&Mel

My father was not a church goer and was despondent over the death of my mother. My parish was St. Celestine, so I thought pastor O´Malley could ease his pain. My father was confirmed and became a faithful Catholic at 88. He passed away at 89. When I told the good pastor, he commented that my father was now in heaven as he was a good man. Father Pat was a special man and priest. When I was a young seminarian in the 50's, Pat was was a great role model. Our paths crossed several times throughout the years. His strength of character, his sense of humor, his caring and always helpful nature will be missed, but the shadow of this man will live on in memory for those who experienced his love and holiness.
