Tara and Mari, I was saddened to learn of Pat Paul´s sudden death at such a young age. I always wished I could gather with the ONeil kids one day and share stories of our times with your parents, our friends and colleagues. I always wished to hear Pat Paul´s stories of his time in Japan. Fascinating that he chose that journey. I can only imagine how difficult his death has been for you both and I wish could be there for your gathering to catch up with you both. Sadly, I live in SE Idaho...

The O´Neils were family friends, and Pat Paul seemed like one of my many cousins. It´s probably been 45 years since I last saw him, but I do still hold his calm caring character. I know he will be missed by those close to him.
