Not sure what to say?

My condolences to everyone in Pat's family. He was a great guy.

My most sincere condolences to the Paas family. Pat was a wonderful man and an inspiring facilitator of the Bible Study group at SMC. His great insights and sense of humour will be sorely missed. It was a blessing to have known him at the Bible Study group even though for a very short period of time. May he rest in peace and enjoy eternal life in Heaven.

Dear Jocelyn and Members of Pat's Family, It was with sadness that I learned of Pat's death. He was an important part of my doctoral studies in Scripture, advising me on books and helping me get the most affordable price. His love of books, his knowledge of theology and his open-hearted nature were all gifts to us theological students. May the memory of his life, his spirit and his love for all of you be a source of strength and peace in these days of sadness. Know that so many of us are...

Pat was always a "bigger than life" kind of guy-so real, so caring, such a wonderful father and husband who loved his children and Jocelyn so much. Though had not been in recent contact with him we feel deeply that the world is a lesser place with his passing and our love and prayers go out to you Joc and the children. May our Lord be your ever source of strength and grace.
Love, Jonny and Carol Keen

Rest In Peace Pat.
God Bless you all.

Dear Jocelyn and your children,
Tim West let me know about Pat's death, and filled in for me what has been happening to you since you were at RBC. Pat was an unforgettable student, affable, reaching out to others, with a warm sense of humor. Some leave no impact, but both of you have often been in my thoughts in all the years since I have seen you. My deep love to you, Jocelyn, and thank you for the photo in the GR PRESS of the two of you. Pat is in peace and joy now, but seems to have...

Pat was a wonderful guide and inspiration to myself and others; I learned so much during my short time with him. The bookstore will continue to be his legacy to us. My condolences and prayers to his family.

I was shocked & saddened by the news of Pat's death. Since moving out of Wycliffe in 2001 I've never visited the College without stopping in at Crux. Even more than the huge selection and great deals, it was a treat to visit with Pat - he was kind, funny, thoughtful & unfailingly helpful. Unfortunately I am unable to attend the funeral but my heart goes out to all Pat's family... he was a great guy & we will all miss him. With love & prayers -

I stayed at Pat's house for the duration of my senior year in college. Although I haven't seen him in over a decade, the news of his passing caused me tremendous grief. He and his wife Jocelyn always treated me like a member of the family then and in the years following when they lived in Michigan. I send my best wishes to my dear "relatives" in Toronto!
