I first met Pat (and his lovely wife Rose) when I was just a teen, moving to the Southside with my family. My Grandparents were his next door neighbors for nearly 30 yrs. I worked at a video store before becoming the police and Pat Rooney used to come in quite often. What a nice man- forward years later and I meet Pat Rooney working in Area One. First thing I asked him was are you related to The Pat Rooney- he laughed and said it was his dad! Condolences to the Rooney Family. I worked with Pat in the Area One for a lot of years. He will always be remembered by me with a smile. We enjoyed the job and working with Pat was an honor. He was a good man! God bless!
