Patrick was born on July 24, 1947 and passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Patrick was a resident of Sterling Heights, Michigan at the time of passing. He is a proud veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in the Marine Corp. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 14th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Rosary Service at 7:00 pm) at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan on Tuesday at 1:30 pm. Im so sorry hear about Pat. My name is Ryan Fairfield and the nephew of LCPL Dennis Fairfield who he served with Pat in Vietnam. My uncle was killed there yhe day after Pat was wounded May 18, 1967. I interviewed Pat a few years ago for the amateur documentary that I made about my Uncle Dennis. Pat would call me from time totime and I cherished talking with him.
