Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Pat's daughter, Sandra Bailey, also to Bill and Tom Ryan who I knew quite well. I was Pat's classmate at Catholic Central (1944 class) until he enlisted in the Marine Corp. in 1943. We renewed our friendship at GR Junior College in 1946/47 after WWII: golf at Blythefield/Highlands; and good selections at Ryan and Hart. Pat was always upbeat, great conversalist, and successful promoter of the Grand River Raft Race. We spoke in 2006 (or 2005) when I called him from...

I was saddened to hear of Pat's passing. I worked for him and his father-in-law Ray Hart at Ryan and Hart as did my two older brothers. Pat taught me much about life and how to have fun. He taught me to ski and play golf and I remember trips to Nubs Knob and the Highlands and Blyfield. I always admired Pat, and his service in the Marine Corps encouraged me to serve in the Corps as well. He was a good man and I feel privileged to have known him.

Sandy,

I am sorry to hear about your dad. He lived life to the fullest. I have fond memories of the times spent at Grandma Ryan's with all the aunts and uncles laughing!

Cousin Molly

Pat was a good man, I have great memories of New Years at the
cabin, fun times at the mountain,
wild nights at the Sportsman,
Ryans Pub, the Tannery, etc.
Like Pat told me "Its so pretty here
in the fall it will make you cry"
Thanks for the good times Patrick!

Sandy,

We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Pat's passing. Who else could wear red leather pants while they skied Boyne? I was always taken with the fact that he was known by a span of generations, including my own.
Rhonda, Ryan, Eric and I send our condolences.
We hope to see you again next summer in Grand Haven.
Much love from my family to yours.

Cousin Fred

Nancy,

I was saddened to read of Pat's passing this morning. I remember him so well when he had the produce market at Eastern and Alger. All our family shopped there, and my Dad and I, in particular, enjoyed visiting with him. He was never too busy to stop what he was doing and talk with us. These are very fond memnories.

I hope you're doing well.

Warm regards,

Kenny

Sandy, Sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He did have a great life. The picture you chose says it all. Hope you are doing well. Aunt Nancy & Ed

Thank you for visiting Patrick’s guest book.
I would like to start by saying in the last 5 years it has been a pleasure and an honor to care for a man who was caring, apologetic, inquisitive, humble and forbearing all with that same sense of humor. I am proud to call him my father.
Please feel free to share any stories you may have, as I am sure there are many out there to be told.
