Not sure what to say?

Dear Mr. Ryan, it is with a heavy heart that I write upon learning of your passing at such a young age. I worked with you just a couple of times as a night staff legal secretary at Q&B just to get some last minute stuff out the door for you and I know, through our brief passings that you were a true blue, down to earth, human being, because you always said "hello", and "thank you for all your help", and never acted holier than thou. On a lighter note, I hope to see you someday in the "30th...

Mr. Ryan was a kind and decent man for whom I had the utmost respect. He never made me feel as though I worked for him, but always as though I worked with him - a rarity in this era and industry. A gentle giant, Mr. Ryan left a positive impression on my life.

My sympathies to the Ryan family on Pat's untimely passing. He was a charismatic, kind man who always had time to stop and chat for a moment. I was at Quarles Chicago and always enjoyed when Pat was around. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Mrs. Ryan, Becky, Brendan, Abby and Luke,

I was completely surprised when my mom alerted me to Mr. Ryan's death. It was a complete shock I'm sure. What a great person he was and a super role model to not only his kids but all the kids who entered your home as we were growing up. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this most difficult time.

Dear Ryan family:
I am so sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Ryan. I worked at Quarles for nine years and know what a wonderful and kind person he was. My prayers are with your family during this very hard time.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Mr. Ryan was truly an amazing individual.

Words are not enough to express our grief and sadness upon your death, Pat. Your wit, personality, inteligence, charm, professionalism, leadership and strong moral fabric will be sorely missed. All of us will have to turn it up a notch to make up for your mortal absence. Our loss is heaven's gain, Patrick.

On a happier note, Pat, if heaven has a blackjack table, save me a spot at first base and, when my day comes, I'll bring the cards to you! It worked for us in Vegas!

Dear Holly, Becky, Abby, Brandan & Luke,
My heart is full of sadness for your loss. Your dad was absolutely wonderful. He was kind, funny, loving and caring. I have so many fond memories of family picnics, playing in the pool and joy we shared together. I know there is nothing I can say to take the pain away, but know that your dad was very loved by me and so many others. He touched many peoples lives in a very positive way. My heart is with you.
Love and peace,

Mrs. Ryan, Becky, Abby, Brendan & Luke,
Thank you for sharing your wonderful father and husband with me. I will always cherish the great memories and hope those may bring you comfort during this time of loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
