Patrick Sammon

SAMMON, Patrick - Of Fort Gratiot, formerly of Flint, age 61, died Monday, June 11, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.

Burial in Flint Memorial Park.

Contributions may be made the Humane Society.

Visitation 1-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Patrick was born in Flint on January 9, 1957, the son of the late Donald E. and Cleo J. (Swinehart) Sammon. Patrick attended Powers High School. He worked for Butterfield Theaters as a theater manager and film booker. He owned Clark Theatre Service in Port Huron and booked movies for independent theatres throughout Michigan. Patrick loved animals and sports, especially the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings. He also loved a good pub crawl.

Surviving are siblings, Kim Francois and Tom Sammon;

nephews, Jeremy Francois, Jason Francois and Andrew (Jenna) Sammon;

niece, Alexis Harris;

grand nephews, Michael Sammon, Jonas Harris, and Jude Harris;

grand nieces, Ryleigh Herron and Weslie Sammon;

special friends, Bob (Lynn) Hines and friends from the Brass Rail Bar in Port Huron.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Cleo Sammon and his brother-in-law, Frank Francois.
