Not sure what to say?

He called me "Sparks". He was a great professor, taught me the secret to great spaghetti sauce, gave me an application for Jamison's, cigars and laughter. God loves him and God blessed me because he was my friend. Be at peace and feel only joy Pat, you are missed.

I just learned of Mr. Sheridan's passing today, and I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Many thoughts, much love, and prayers sent your family's way.

Mary and family,
I'm so sorry to hear if Pat's passing. He was like a father to me when I transferred to Siena my sophomore year. I will fondly remember the road trips, Fannies, his classes and just hanging out at your house drinking Jameson's. Reading the comments below it is clear Pat touched many many lives. Until we meet again Pat.

One of the very best men I've ever known. God Bless you Pat. Sincere condolences to the family.

So sad to hear the passing of a true Legend. A tremendous person and family man. As some have said, so many great and funny memories! So proud to have played for him. Cigars, Fannies and Hockey. So sad I was not at services. Condolences from my family to Mary, Erin, Pat, Matt and Megan. Until we meet again Coach

I am so sorry to hear of Pats passing. I randomly connected with John Owen on Monday and he told me the news.

I have nothing but fond memories of Pat aka Coach. We had great times playing hockey, travelling away for games and having the Christmas parties eating and drinking and watching Slapshot! You had the patience of a saint to put up with all of us in your home! I remember the meals at Fannys, his fun classes and his chewed up cigars!

He...

Mary and family,
Pat and I coached and taught together. I just learned the sad news from one of our players now living in the UK.
I have so many wonderful and funny memories of our time together. Cooking meals for the team, riding in his pick-up with a cigar always burning, too many bus trips to count and getting back to campus at 2am. And oh yeah - Jamesons. He explained his obsession with pasta as "John, I was born to Italian parents and my Irish ones mistakenly took me from the...

I am deeply saddened by Pat's passing. I heard of his passing last night at a Siena College event. I am so sorry to have missed the services that commemorated his life. I worked with Mary Sheridan at Shearson Lehman Brothers in the beginning of my career, from which I am now retired. Pat knew that I had graduated from Providence College - fellow Friars! - and gave me an opportunity to teach as an adjunct instructor at Siena College which I have continued to do as a 'second career' these past...

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.
