Patrick Lebouris Shorter quietly entered into eternal rest
on Friday, March 19, 2004 in Nanjemoy, MD. He was born on October 28, 1963 in Charles County,
Maryland to Mrs. Eleanor Shorter Jenifer and the late
Nelson L. Shorter.
Patrick was educated in the Charles County Public School
System. He later entered the U.S. Army where he served
for 3 years. He was briefly employed by the Charles
County Detention Center but later became employed by Giant
Food, Inc. where he worked until the time of his death.
Left to cherish many memories is the love of his life,his
wife, Mona Lisa, son, Patrick Alexander, daughter, Whitley
Shantelle, mother Eleanor Jenifer, step-father, Joseph
Jenifer, four brothers, Darryl Kitt, Peter Shorter,
Maurice Lock, and Keith Shorter, four sisters, Eleanor
Johnson, Jeannette Turner, Sandra Shorter, and Donna
Shorter, mother-in-law and father-in-law, James Elwood and
Sarah Cobey, four sisters-in-law, Cecila Cobey, Sarah
Cobey, Terrell Johnson, and Eleanor Kitt, six
brothers-in-law, Cardinal Johnson, Richard Turner, James
Dorsey, Delmont Green, Charles Love, and Pete Johnson,
three uncles, John Shorter, James Riley and Carl Kitt,
four aunts, Maxine Porter, Katherine Shorter, Elizabeth
Riley and Patricia Kitt and a host of nieces, nephews and
other relatives friends.
The viewing will be held on Thursday, March 25, 9:30a.m.
until time of service 11:00a.m., Thornton Funeral Home
Chapel, Rte. 227, Pomonkey, Maryland. Interment St.
Ignatius Church Cemetery, Hill Top, Maryland.
