Read MoreI got to know Pat as a student in the cytotechnology program at AGMC. He was a funny guy and helped me pull off a prank on my instructor last year as we wrapped up the final cytotechnology class there. I am sad that he has passed away and will always remember his happy smile.

I feel something must be said about the courageous battle Patrick fought against a devastating disease and the people who supported him even to the point of donating a kidney. He never lost his dignity or his sense of humor. He has many friends at AGMC on all levels. He was truly democratic in his friendships and is missed by so many. Rest in peace, dear brother, go with God because you are truly one of the good guys.

My heart goes out to his family. Mom and I knew Patrick at least 40+ years at AGMC and he has been in our hearts for that long. He was a kind and awnry guy who will be missed by all. "Patrick, rest in peace my dear friend."
