Not sure what to say?

Anniversaries of the losses of our loved ones and friends bring pain and joy. The pain we feel as we stare at the void and feel the vacancy in our hearts when we ponder what we lost. That never goes away but, when we think of all the joy and strength that Pat brought to us and laugh at the lasting memories he gave us, it helps us grow through the grief. We all were so blessed to have Pat in our lives and we thank the Lord for lending him to us. AND, we thank HIM for sitting Pat at HIS right...

So blessed to have Pat part of my life and hope he is enjoying my grandkids, Reagan and Grant in Heaven. I know he watches over all of us from above.

Love you buddy! You still impact my life.

Patricia and Taylor,

I am so saddened to hear of Pat's death. He was a great coach and better friend! What great memories we all have of him and our time together at West Mesquite. I'm just sorry it's my first contact through these years. I know I speak for Kenneth Trepagnier, Danny Craver, Bobby Campbell,my wife Sue and our daughters Kori and Karen, and the rest of our great staff we loved Pat and loved working with him. He lit up our darkest days just by being "Pat"!

Sorry to hear of your loss. Coach Smith was loved in DeSoto High School.

Shocked to hear this sad news. Sincere condolences to Tricia and Taylor. I will always remember his great sense of humor and that mischievous smile. His biology class was my favorite! Always the favorite coach! Thinking of you, Tricia, and all of the fun we had going to football games and track meets at De Soto. Much love to you from Cissy, Mary Ann And Sterling.

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. May the wonderful treasures fill your hearts with love and bring you peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Hosea 13:14
