A good man, Patrick Smith. I got to know Pat during his time at Zone 5 and always enjoyed talking with him. My sincerest condolences.

Bill DeLuca
Catskill PD (Ret.)

am saddened to hear of this news. I always enjoyed the small chat Pat and I had at Zone 5 of his days at the Schenectady Ambulance Service as well as the earlier years he worked at SPD. My condolences to Pat's family and friends as well as his extended family in the police community. You served your community well, thank you for your service. Rest in Peace.

Rest In Peace Chief Smith, it was a pleasure to have worked with you on cases of mutual interest when I was the Parole Officer assigned to my agencies Bureau of Special Services. You were always a True Professional, someone whose counsel I appreciated and a pleasure to work with.

Pat, we had many many great times on the Police Dept. together. They are memories that I will never forget. You were truly a great friend. Brenda you have my sincerest and deepest sympathy. Pat and I joined the Police Dept. almost at the same time. I helped his dad on many rod shows that came to Schenectady back in the day. Pat may you rest in peace and I look forward to seeing you in the future. All my very best, Bruce.

Memories of conversations with you, Pat, will always make me smile. Rest in peace, God bless you and God bless your family.

My condolences to your family and hope you Rest In Peace! Prayers to your family!

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May Pat rest in peace. Lots of great memories to reflect on and smile. Godspeed, Pat. All my love.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you rest in peace and with no more pain.
