May sound odd but not a day goes by I don´t think about this guy. He was more than an actor. He was a spirit. I never met him but his presence pushes through his films in a way only one other could ever (Gene Hackman) - I don´t understand it but know somehow that his spirit is still here and is just amazing. Smiling and laughing.His films, talent and communication of character immense. An artist in so many aspects and professional unlike many. To the wind sir.

What truly great loss to the industry he contributed so much to. RIP, my friend. We'll never forget you.

He was so great as Johnny Castle in Dirty Dancing which I have seen numerous times, and as Darry in The Outsiders who can forget his role as Sam Wheat in Ghost. Unforgettable performances!!!!! R.I.P. Patrick you had so many talents!!!!
