Not sure what to say?

Come back, Uncle Pat. Please come back. We want to be silly with you again, and sing the Shaffer beer song together.

Pat was a musician for whom a Fender was an bio-extension of his limbs. He and I and a songwriter jammed a bit back in the early eighties. Not a peak moment in his musical career, for sure. But I enjoyed seeing him in the Allentown area's few pubs. A fine, if gravelly at times, voice, for which he was ordered by a doctor to go mute for a period. I wish the music would flow through me the way it did through him.

Danced to TIKIT at the Peppercorn Pub every weekend. Will always remember Pat, Hub, Chris and Gene. The BEST times ever. Cookie

I was not a close friend of Pat´s. He was a constant part of the background for me and many others at work. As I and those others were likely added scenery in his workspace as well. It seemed like he played in every band, sometimes 7 nights a week. I remember always trying take notice if he was working, by looking around in the parking garage for his 1980´s primered black chevy Malibu with no hubcaps. A car that perfectly matched his undecorated authenticity. He had un-imitated blues...

Very sad to hear about the passing of Pat. Although we were not close friends, he was a big part of the scenery and entertainment where i went to work every day for a few years, as I was probably a regular part of his background as well. I remember him to be a sincere & kind gentleman that everybody loved, soft spoken, charming & witty. He seemed to play in every band that was on. I always looked for his primered black Chevy Malibu as a general curiosity to see if he was working that day....

A great musician, thanks for always making our music better with your green-tinted fingers! Sleep well. JWD

RIP Pat

So sorry to lose Pat - a musician´s musician, friend, and one of the driest, funniest people you´d want to know!! RIP Pat - make a big splash with that amazing band in Heaven!

Loved Pat. He was such a sweetheart. Have known him from Asa and I know how much he was treasured by Bowdie and Django. We, in the music community, are devastated by his loss. We will keep him in our loving memory. Looking forward to the June celebration and CD release gathering.
