Patrick H. "Pat" Wilhelm

I cut timber for Pat during several winters in the Big Sky/Livingston areas. He was the best boss I've ever known, generous to his employees and always in good humor. I was dead broke one winter when I came to Montana, having been robbed of all my Alaskan wages. Took me a month of staying in a motel before I'd saved enough money to rent a place, but I was still having to bum rides to work. Pat decided he needed a new pickup and rather than trade his old one in he just up and gave it to me....

Tho we did not know Pat well, we remember all the logging stories told by many and his family. He will be greatly missed by many. We pray for Pat and his family, Lee, Ward and Joan.... at this difficult time. Rest in Peace Pat!
