Not sure what to say?

I have fond memories of Paddy -initially through stories recounted by my mother Margaret Mary (nee Forkan). Later as a pre teen and teenager I recall the Winston family visits to my native Mayo. Those visits were perhaps at times
'difficult' for Mary, Tommy and Patsy (as we knew them then)because for Paddy he was 'home'.
He immediately re-integrated into the life he had left in his formative years. He revelled in his great passion for animals, land and the social interaction of the...

My wife Donna and I had a few phone conversations with Paddy, though we never met him. He was a delight to talk to, and a rich source of family information. (My mother Annie Winston of East Boston, traced her parents back to Carrick, & we collect family history). He told us that Mary Kate Forkan, a good seamstress, made the suit he wore when he came to the US in the 1950s. May God bless him.

Mrs. Winston and Tommy,

Please accept my deepest condolances for your family’s loss. Atleast you can take comfort in the fact that he lord has a better place for him to tell his great stories.

Pat, Tommy, Mrs. Winston,
I am so sorry to hear this news. Your dad was so warm, wonderful and fun. I am at a loss for words. I know he will be greatly missed. Just wanted to let you all know that I am thinking about you, if you are reading these. I wish I could be there to give you all a big hug ! Take care of yourselves and I will talk to you soon,
Monica

I first met Paddy when I was 4 years old while we both lived with my Granmother Mary Kate Forkan. Over the 2 years we both lived there I brought an excitement to his life (which he didn't always welcome) and he to mine....I probably was the first child to have a birthmark removed with a sponge.I enjoyed shareing memories of those times with him on his recent visit. From a young age Paddy had many difficulties to overcome but he always did his best. I loved him and will miss him......I will...

Dear Tommy, Lynn and Family,

We were sorry to hear of your recent loss but, take solace in the fact he passed without pain and in peace. Lord knows I know how it feels to lose a father to cancer. Let the good memories override your times of pain.
Love & peace,
Bobby Miller & Charyn Desautel
