BARBER, Patsy – Of Fenton, age 83, died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Vibra Hospital in Taylor.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Russell Barber, her son officiating.
Entombment at Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Patsy was born on December 20, 1934.
She was a graduate of Birch Run High School in 1952.
On February 7, 1953 she married Ronald Barber and he preceded her in death on February 15, 1987.
She loved to crochet and sew.
Mrs. Barber was employed by AC Spark Plug Division for 35 years, retiring in 1993 and was a member of UAW Local #651.
Beloved mother of Ron, Jr. (Judy) Barber of Flint, Reverend Russ (Marjorie) Barber of Arkansas, Richard (Cindy) Barber of Flint,Randy (Mike Lange, Jr.) Barber of Taylor and Rodney Barber of Fenton;
9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; brother, Glenn Conner of Flint; many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Bill Frasier; 2 sisters, Shirley Spears and Pearl Papendick; 2 brothers, John Conner and Ralph Conner.
