Lloyd Leonard Bruns

DECATUR - Lloyd Leonard Bruns, 78, of Decatur, formerly of Cerro Gordo died 4:40 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2005 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. His body was donated to science. Memorial services will be at a later date. Dawson & Wikoff Colonial Chapel North is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Bruns was born February 18, 1927 in Cerro Gordo the son of Charles and Cleo Waneta (Wallace) Bruns. He retired from Mueller Company after thirty years as a machinist, he was active in AIW Union Local #838, Masonic Lodge of Cerro Gordo and Moose Lodge #1294 of Shelbyville. He was an outdoor person. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and hunting. His grandchildren and great grandchildren brought tremendous JOY to his life. He married E. Lois Woollen on October 8, 1945. She preceded him in death on September 24, 1995. Surviving are his daughters; Linda L. Brown and husband Steven of Decatur, Brenda J. Wilson of Decatur, and Ronda I. Miller and husband Dan of San Antonio, Texas, sister Vida Adams of Macon, brother Russell Bruns of Mt. Vernon, grandchildren: Llonna J. Fultz and husband Erik, Barry D. Brown and wife Christine, Weslee K. Brown, Jeffrey L. Wilson, Jamie B. Wilson, Jeffery B. Miller and Stephen L. Miller and wife Clara, great grandchildren: Tabitha, Jesika, and Drew Fultz, Dalton, Kaley and Brittney Brown, Kayla George and Hailey Wilson. Special friend Nancy Kessel of Shelbyville.
