Patsy Dianne Auten Cooke, 64, of Lincolnton., died Monday, March 22, 2010, at Gaston Memorial Hospital. A Service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Bumgardner Chapel, McLean Funeral Directors. Rev. J. V. Allen, Rev. Johnny Houser will officiate. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm Wednesday at McLean Funeral Directors of Belmont. Mrs. Cooke was born September 3, 1945 in Gaston Co., NC. She was a daughter of the late Willard Pressley Auten and Lois Wilma DeHart Auten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Kathy Ferguson. Mrs. Cooke is survived by her husband of 34 years Robert Cooke, daughter, Susie Abernathy and husband Richard of Mt. Holly, NC, daughter, Janet Cooke of Lincolnton, NC, daughter, Sandra Miller and husband Tommy of Stanley, NC, son, Alan Cooke of Iron Station, NC, son, Randall Cooke wife Sharon of Denver, NC, son, Timothy Whisnant and wife Karrie of Bessemer City, NC, 12 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.
