Ms. Giffin was such an inspiration to me as a high school student. I was lost and lonely, my father was in Vietnam and my family was a mess. Ms. Giffin took me to new heights in creativity and her work with me influenced so many people. I became a teacher in the Arts and eventually Special Education. I will never forget her stagecraft classes and the stages she led me to create in high school and beyond. I will never forget you, Ms. Giffin!

Few people, much less teachers had a stronger impact on my life than Ms Giffin. She taught me patience and excellence, resilience and grace in the face of adversity. We traveled Europe together in the summer of `79. It is a trip I will always treasure. Rest in peace, Giff. Sami Leigh - class of `79

Patsy changed my life. She believed in her students and I am the person I am today in part because she let me know that theatre kids were okay. Thank you Ms Giffin.
