Patsy Herring

The poet J. M. Barrie said "God gave us memories so we could have roses in December." Patsy is one of my roses.

This is the year for our 55th class reunion. You could always depend on Patsy to be involved (leading) the planning for that event. You miss people that have gone from your life all the time. But on special occasions you miss them in special ways. And you thank God for special memories of them.

Remembering a dear friend. Saying a prayer today for Donald. The two of them were so complimentary as a couple. She believed in him so deeply and he tried never to disappoint her.

I think these words from the obituary is how we should remember Patsy, "Patsy gave generously of her unconditional love and many talents throughout her life."

Have missed having her as a resource and confidante. Always good to bounce an idea off of. Could always depend on her for wise counsel and encouragement.

Patsy will never be forgotten as a dear and trusted friend. Our love and prayers still go out to Donald and the family.

Neither time, space, nor words will let us say all there is about our special friend. Patsy and Donald were so special to so many. There are lots of Patsy stories and memories. Praying for God's grace and healing for Donald.
