Patsy Hoshiko

I had the privilage of working under Patsy-Rose at Shawnee Library System for many years. I learned to appreciate her work ethic and would do things the way she liked knowing it would make her happy. The last time I saw Patsy-Rose was at a small get together of employees of Shawnee. Sadness as well as happiness in remembering PR, one my mother's (Marilyn MYK Meyer Loofbourrow) very best friends of a lifetime. As a young boy I can remember meeting PR and feeling how special she made me feel with her big smile, big personality and pronounced intellect. I will always remember her and I am thankful for her spirit gracing our family.
