Patsy Ruth Hunter

Pat was a beautiful person inside and out. I was fortunate enough to teach with her at Ridgeway Elementary and I saw first hand the impact she made on her students. My daughter was lucky enough to have Mrs. Hunter as her 3rd grade teacher. She still talks about the neat things she learned from her. I will always remember Pat's kind and loving spirit. I am praying for her family.

To Pat's daughters--you have my sincere sympathy. Your mom welcomed me into your home when you were all quite young and I was a college sophomore recuperating from surgery in Memphis. She was a wonderful nurse as well as a great teacher! I am sure she received a loving welcome in heaven from my father, Peyton "Uncle Buddy" Adams. My love to all the family.

Aunt Pat, thank you for helping me learn to read by giving my mom Kathy and Debbie's old textbooks, from which my mom taught me to read before kindergarten. You spent your whole life as a dedicated educator. Thank you for your calm and kind spirit and for welcoming us into your home. My prayers go out to Cheryl, Debbie, Kathy, and dearest Uncle Ed for strength. I know you are with The Lord and you are smiling down with your beautiful smile, healed and whole.
