Patsy A. Jacobs

Patsy A. Jacobs, 85, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on October 1, 2024, she grew up in Searcy, Arkansas and then moved to Fort Wayne at the age of 16. She worked for Magnavox for 38 years, retiring in 1999. Pat loved gardening, shopping for bargains, and listening to country music. She enjoyed cooking and baking delicious breads & cakes for family and friends. Her beautiful smile was highlighted with her perfectly placed lipstick. Pat was fun-loving and never met a stranger. She is survived by her children, Terry (Brenda) Gilbert, Columbia City, IN, Denise (Rick) Osborn, McMinnville, TN, Keith (Ann) Gilbert, Fort Wayne, IN and James (Ginger) Gilbert, Albion, IN; step-daughter, Roxanne Jacobs; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; surviving siblings, Betty Smith, Arkansas, Imogene Benton, Arkansas, Nelda Neil, Sellersburg, Indiana, Linda Gregory, Mississippi, and Mark Edwards, Fort Wayne, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jacobs; her parents, Romie and Eva Edwards; and 3 siblings, Troy Edwards, Hillary Edwards, and Fran Rue. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Klaehn, Fahl, & Melton Funeral Home 6424 Winchester Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
