JONES, Patsy Louise Petterson Sept. 7, 1930 To April 17, 2018 Patsy went to be with the Lord Tuesday April 17, 2018 with loved ones holding her hands. Patsy is survived by son Alan Grady Jones and wife Rose, Grand children Lynn Jones, Alicia Irlbeck, Kathryn Shiflett and Charles Lively. Great grandchildren Travis Judd, Margaret Judd, Shelby Irlbeck, Kyle Irlbeck, Emily Irlbeck, Owen Shiflett and Jesse Shiflett and her brothers, Charlie Petterson and GenePetterson. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Charles Richard Jones and Daughter Jenise Ann Lively. Patsy was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. Patsy knew the power of prayer and frequently prayed for her family. When there were times of crisis Patsy would encourage the family to get on their knees and pray. Her prayers were so cherished that days before her death the family ask her to pray for family members by name. Jesus has received a veteran Angel. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2 pm at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar, Austin Texas. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 pm at Adina Christian Church on Sunday, April 22nd, followed by the interment in Adina Cemetery. The Church address is: 5892 County Road 309, Lexington, Texas. Patsy will be escorted by Pallbearers that love and honor her; Trish Chapa, Cooper Petterson, Keith Davis, Kyle Irlbeck, Russell Powers and Mike Irlbeck.
