Owens and Brumley Funeral Home - Wichita Falls Obituary

Patsy Ann Jones Spraggins, “Nana”, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Patsy was born on April 25, 1943 in Mountain View, Oklahoma to Jack and Edith Jones.  She married her late husband, Robert Nelson Spraggins in 1964, and they were married for 53 years.

Patsy held a variety of jobs in her lifetime, but her favorite was running a home daycare for more than 30 years and raising all of ‘her kids”.  She loved every child she cared for and cherished getting to visit with them as they grew older and started families of their own.

Her greatest passion and accomplishment was her family.  She loved them more than anything in the world, and we will miss her dearly.

Along with her husband Bob, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Edith; and her sister, Lenita Jones Flinn.

She is survived by her two sons, Kevin Spraggins and wife Shantel, and Kelly Spraggins and wife Vicky; her daughter by choice, Billie Ridinger and husband Todd; her sister, Glenda Jones Hancock and husband Doyle; her brother, Jack Jones and wife Linda; three grandchildren, Sara Heis and husband Jacob, Kelsey Phillips and husband Zach, and Kris Spraggins and wife Alexis; one great-granddaughter, Emily Heis; one great-grandson, Greyson Phillips; along with several nieces and nephews, and a long list of special friends.

A memorial service honoring Patsy will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Hospice of Wichita Falls Inpatient Center under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4400 Cypress Ave., Wichita Falls, TX 76310 (howf.org)
