It's been a year tomorrow that we lost my Mom. It's crazy how often her face or voice pops into my head - multiple times daily. And it's interesting how grieving functions. Initially the loss is sometimes overwhelming, but as time goes on, any negative memories (not that there were many, but it is family, so) give way to nothing but warm, happy, funny, loving memories. My Mother adored loving people, and being loved. She actively exhibited pretty much every day, and taught us, the 5 love...

Blessings at this time. Pat was also a brace bus driver for Dr. R.A McFarland for many years. Such a kind and giving person. So sorry for your loss. . Carmen Flick

Family and Friends Gathering will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday, Sept. 19th at Wade Funeral home - 4140 W Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013. Graveside Services will be Sept. 20th, 11 AM at Moore Cemetery, 1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012.

So sorry to hear of her passing. I remember visiting with her before and after concerts. She never missed one. I played in the orchestra and then in band. Laura was very talented, her parents were always so proud.

James and my Dad were roommates in College. When they each got married, both couples got together regularly. These for friends were so close that Pat and James named their son Rodney after my Dad. We had family get togethers , especially in the summer. They remained friends until my Dad died in 2021. Pat will be missed.
