Our mother, Patsy Mehegan passed away on Monday September 8, 2008, two days before her 87th birthday. We each said goodbye to her in our own way, and now have begun remembering all the things that we loved and now miss about her. It is the small, significant details we remember about mom that...

Not sure what to say?

Auntie Hisayo Patsy with such great children and grand children which I have only recently enjoined in the Ushi Higa family! Such great to belong to your family, Auntie! Alohe Oe. Harold and Mary Shiroma Richardson, TX

I remember Mrs. Mehegan from dating Ciss in the early 70's and she was the kindest and nicest mom I'd EVER met. I have very fond memories of her.

Dear Gma Mehegan,
I just found out. I apologize for not being a good grand daughter. I will always remember our times together, in japan, in washington, and where ever else we were. you were always my favorite, cause you truly loved us. I thank you for that. I have missed you all these years, i truly have. and now i miss you even more. I wish i could of been more part of the family. I love you gma, very very much, with all my heart and soul.

My deepest condolences to the Mehegan cousins. Of course my memories of Aunty Pat are not as extent to the rest of the Nishihira and Oshiro families. But, this is what I know. My mom was named after her and whenever I saw Aunty Pat she looked like a younger version of my grandmother. After my grandmother died it gave me some comfort seeing grandma's face in Aunty Pat's. Again, our sincere sympathies to the family.

Auntie Patsy will live in my memory always as a loving person who cared deeply about my father, my brother and I. I remember her visiting us as I was a small child growing up with my single dad, Robert Nishihara.

I have missed her and will always miss her. Love to all her wonderful family.

Mary Ann Waddell, Daughter of Robert Suso Nishihara, Santa Fe, New Mexico

We are so very saddened to learn of your mother's passing. Her legacy and kind and loving ways continue to live on through her children and grandchildren. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and most sincere condolences.

To my Auntie Patsy, my deepest apologies for not dropping by while I worked in Redmond while you were in good health and also to introduce my family to you and your family while our older daughter Lisa was stationed at Everett.

I also offer my deepest sympathies to your children, Marian, Charlotte, Margaret, Joseph, Dennis, their spouses and your grand children.

God bless you and I pray that you have a wonderful journey to be with your family in heaven and rest in...
