Patsy Kelley Powell

Mrs. Patsy was a very kind and loving friend. I loved just sitting with her over a cup of coffee and talking. You are missed.

I miss this lady so much! Her loving ways, friendship and wisdom were so much a part of her. I think of her often.

Patsy was the most beautiful person, inside and out. She was a loyal friend. She shined wherever she was planted. I am so blessed she was in my life. I will miss her greatly.

Ms. Powell was my English teacher in junior high. I loved seeing her about town. We always had such wonderful conversations. I will truly miss seeing her. What an interesting person she was!

I always enjoyed seeing Miss Patsy at. St. John’s and in the community. She was a lovely lady and I will cherish my memories of her. One of my favorite possessions is my copy of Dulac That Cajun Cat signed by her.
May she Rest In Peace and Rise in Glory.

I have wonderful memories of Patsy reading Dulac Dat Cajun Cat to the children at the branches of the Terrebonn Parish Library. We had lots of laughs and fun. She was a kind and generous person.

Patsy Powell was one of the nicest person I've ever met. So sorry to hear of her passing. I know, for sure, she is resting in the arms of our savior, Jesus Christ.
