Big Mama was everything! She treated my mother (Gail) as one of her own and took care of my brother (Jeffrey) and I as if we were her grandchildren. In our mind you couldn’t tell us that we weren’t her grandchildren. We always enjoyed Saturday mornings coming over and eating figs off the tree. She became my twins godmother and they heard all the wonderful stories about growing up with BigMama.
