Patsy "Pat" Stokes

Patsy "Pat" Naomi Stokes, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at the age of 74. Pat was born in Rhome, TX on December 30, 1938 to William Henry and Lillie Collins. On February 10, 1961, she married the love of her life, Billy C. Stokes, and with him has three children. Pat loved to do crosswords, sodoku, and logic puzzles, cross-stitching, and crocheting. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents, William and Lille; her sister, Florence; and her son-in-law, Curtis. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth and husband Edwin "Bubba" Sooter, Angie Sudduth, William Stokes and girlfriend Cissy Arnold; grandchildren, Christopher Stokes and fiancé Brandy Reyes, Emilia, Micah, and Rebekah Sudduth, Michael "Dusty" Sooter and wife Stephanie, Mary "Teri" Harshman and husband Jeremiah, Cody Arnold and wife Kristin, Kyle Arnold; great granddaughter, Kaitlynn and great grandson, Owen, and grand-dog, J.R. Brother Ewing Stokes, along with a host of loving friends and family Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Thursday morning at 1st Baptist Church of Johnson City. Interment will be held at 11:00am Friday, July 19th at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, TX.
