Mrs. Patsy Burchette Stone

Mrs. Stone was born on August 18, 1947 and passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015. Mrs. Stone was a resident of Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the time of her passing. She graduated from Elkin High School. Upon graduation Patsy attended King's College in Charlotte where she received a degree in business. She is survived by her husband Benny. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday September 20 2015 at Woodland Baptist Church located at 1175 Bethania-Rural Hall Road Rural Hall NC with Rev. Tim Gammons Rev. Devy Nanlohy and Rev. David Stone officiating. Also a time of visitation with the family will take place on Saturday September 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church. Born on August 18 1947 she grew up in Elkin NC and graduated from Elkin High School. Upon graduation Patsy attended King's College in Charlotte where she received a degree in business. She worked as the administrator for Silas Creek Manor and later started her own business Floral Silks to be able to spend more time with her children. She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church and an Auxiliary for Gideon's International. Patsy will be especially remembered for the joy she took in nurturing relationships with family and friends. She approached life with a cheery disposition and faith in God's provision. Those who knew her appreciated her kind smile and supportive nature. Most recently Patsy's heart for service led her.
