How saddened I am on hearing the news of Patty's passing. While I hadn't seen her in almost 30 years, I won't forget the impact she had on me when Steve and I were in high school. She opened her home and her heart to me and made me feel as one of her own. She even let me sit in Jack's chair..right up to the time when he got home from work, when I better darn well be out of it, voluntarily or otherwise! She accepted me even as a goofy teenager with a heavy foot.
