Not sure what to say?

I can't believe it is nearly a year since you left us Patty, you are still very much missed but your legacy lives on with your forum, Computer Haven, still helping people with their computers. Love to your family from me, letting them know how much you meant to me and others who carry on your work. xx

I know MacDuffie from her many years hosting Computer Haven.

I am so sorry for your loss. How very sad. What an amazing woman.

One night, MacDuffie (this is what she liked being called) phoned me at home to troubleshoot a misunderstanding. She decided to clean my entire computer. We spent a couple of hours, or more, until she set me up with a backup program and very clean files. Like new! She left me safe and secure.

Quite remarkable. She was so generous with...

I knew Patty through the Microsoft MVP program. Even though I haven't had any contact with Patty in several years, her passing still leaves a hole in my heart, the world has lost another great person.

My condolences to Patty's family. Patty was one of the original shining stars online and helped so many people.

Like many in the online world, I had the pleasure of knowing Patty through newsgroups, the mailing lists, online chats, and, ultimately, her own web forum. Though my role was as her representative at Microsoft, our relationship transcended those technical bounds into true friendship. Her quiet leadership and sense of proportion, "real-world" view of technology and innate business sense, and, above all that, her generous soul fueled all of us to be better by example, and happily join in the...

I'm very sorry to read this. My condolences to Patty's Family. We were Microsoft MVPs together and worked together to help the Microsoft user community and met in Redmond for conferences

I knew Patty from Microsoft newsgroups, MVP program and DTS Lists. She was always willing to share her knowledge, you will be missed, Patty.

I first encountered Patty through the Microsoft Newsgroups as so many others. I was lucky enough to meet her in person at the MSMVP Summit on several occasions. If there has ever been a champion of the regular computer user it was Patty. She will be missed and remembered by everyone she helped. Now its time for her next adventure.

Patty was a wonderful person. I enjoyed her wit and wisdom. Rest in peace!
