Patty Phillips, 86 of Evensville died Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at her home.
Born on October 1, 1934 in Lupton City, Tennessee, Patty was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a graduate of Rhea Central High School, Class of 1952. Patty was of the Methodist faith and attended the Concord Union Church, Evensville Methodist Church and the Watts Bar Church of God. She worked at Robinson Manufacturing Company for 52 years as a payroll/insurance clerk and retired at the age of 80. Patty began working for Mr. Fred Robinson, then Mr. Jack Robinson and retired under the leadership of Mr. Pat Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Ray Phillips, her parents Boyd and Magnolia Shaver Manis, her brothers-in-law James L. Johnston and Ernie Garrison and her nephew Keith Garrison.
Survivors include her children Dr. Brenda Hill and Lynn (Wesley) Haddock both of Evensville, Dr. Kimberly (Bobby) Moffett and Karen (Becky) Phillips both of Spring City, her sister Barbara Manis Johnston of Evensville, her sister-in-law Helen Garrison of Spring City, her grandchildren Brittney Gravett, Patrick (Susan) Gravett, Courtney Moffett, Levi (Laura) Moffett, Nate Moffett, Daniel Hill, Sarah (Adam) Warren, Gavin Newton, Zabrina and Sierra Weston and Joston and Jace Phillips, her six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Concord Union Church, 811 Concord Lane, Evensville, TN with the Dr. Shane Johnston, Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald and Pastor Kelly Goins officiating. She will be laid to rest by her beloved husband at the Buttram Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends at Concord Union Church on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
