I was so very sorry to hear that Patty lost her valiant battle with cancer. I have to say that when I last got to visit with her, I was impressed with her strength and dignity, and her very pragmatic demeanor. Patty hired me as a supervisor and I only hope I lived up to her expectations and example. She will forever remain my mentor and cherished friend.
