Good man, good teacher, good friend.

Mr. Kelly was my science teacher in 8th grade; and that was many moons ago! One day in class, he playfully chided me about how badly I bit my fingernails, and issued a challenge that I decided to be on the winning side of. I stopped biting those nails, to the point where I had to cut them back in order to take a typing class! But Mr. Kelly didn't lose that challenge, we both won. Every time I saw his name come up as a channel 3 weather watcher, I would think of him fondly, and remember what...

A few humorous remembrances at this sad time:
Kelly walking down the hall bellowing out, "Get your Bumpah guards here! Bosox bumpah guards!"
He used to call me in my classroom every year on Shakespeare's birthday and recite with great feeling the Dagger Soliloquy from Macbeth, which he had memorized: "Is this a dagger that I see before me, the handle toward my hand"?...etc.One time he actually walked into my classroom, took a lap around the room, reciting it as he went.Then just...

We are saddened to hear of Paul's passing. A lovely man, good neighbor and terrific teacher. He will be missed by so many. Please know you are all in our prayers and we wish you peace during this difficult time.

I was very surprised to hear of Paul's death. Quite a shock to all. He was a good man and a great teacher. He could put a smile on your face just saying good morning. He will be missed. I hope the great love he had for you, will be a help in your time of grieving his loss. You have my deepest sympathy and condolences

I just heard about Mr. Kelly's passing and I want you to know that I am deeply sorry for your loss. He was one of my favorite teachers in jr. high, he will be missed!
