I just learned about Paul's accident and am very, very sorry for Lee and the family. The loss is greatest for them, but a real loss for the people of Pocatello who benefited from his compassionate care, and for those who would have in the future. My deepest sympathies.

Paul always had time for a smile and a conversation with each of us while he was here for his Cardiology Fellowship. He made sure we felt appreciated with our work as R.N's and Sonographers. He truly was a breath of fresh air for all of us.
With our sympathy,

My last memory of Paul was seeing him and Lee on their horses on the Inman trail on June 3rd. As my husband and I were biking back down the Inman trail, Paul was then riding his bike up the trail. We stopped to talk with Paul and he was telling us about his MOOSE adventure the previous day on a kayaking trip. As we said "goodbye" to Paul I happened to turn around to watch him bike up the trail and was thinking, "man, he has a lot of energy." But that's what made him such a great person. I...

Lee,
Magic happens when two hearts become connected, and memories can never be erased. I'm sorry for your loss. I knew Dr. Abraszewski a very short time, but his lasting impressions of his kindness will not be forgotten. May your happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time.

I loved to refer my patients to Dr. Abraszewski because I knew he would treat them kindly and was an excellent cardiologist. The feedback from his patients was always great. He was also dedicated to education and happy to train students. He will be missed.

I CAN REMEBER WHEN DR. ABRASZEWSKI WOULD WRITE ANYTHING AND WE WOULD HAVE TO ASK HIM WHAT IT SAID BECAUSE WE COULDN'T READ HIS WRITING. ONE DAY HE HAD WRITTEN HIMSELF A NOTE AND AN HOUR LATER HE CAME TO ME AND ASKED ME WHAT HIS NOTE HAD READ BECAUSE HE COULDN'T READ HIS OWN HANDWRITING. HIS HANDWRITING WAS UNIQUE. WE ARE ALL AT A GREAT LOSS FOR PAUL. HE WAS SUCH A TALENTED MAN AND HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED!
