Not sure what to say?

Paul stood in my wedding and grew up next door to me. He was always a sweet boy. I know he has been missed. Love to his family.

Paul was a kind, funny and patient. He as the one who explained to me the filling system at the VCD. Uniform always 'tight' and he was always smiling. I will always remember the memories we shared through the NOPD. RIP

Paul was the ring bearer in mu wedding. I know that he is greatly missed and I pray for him every day.

I remember seeing Paul on the 10:00 news on wwl-tv growing up in New Orleans and I will always remember him. Rest in peace Paul.

I was a good friend of Paul's until I moved away from New Orleans in 2003. He worked the detail twice a week where I worked and he truly helped the work nights pass quickly. I wish we would have spoken more than once after I had moved away. I was devastated to learn that Paul was that policeman being referred to in the news of this horrible tragedy. My prayers are with Paul's family!!

Mr Accardo was an honorble officer and a well respected man. He appeared kind hearted, yet professional. My grandmother, Lena, lived three houses down from him and his wife. she enjoyed having them in the neighbrhood. There was a spot in heaven especially for Mr. Accardo and he is there now. Many prayers have been said for him and his family. They are still in my thoughts and my heart.

I'm a doing a research project about Hurricane Katrina for school, and I just wanted to say that I greatly respect Paul Accardo's work and talent. Even though I did not know him, just reading this guestbook has made me understand the effect that he had on others.
My prayers are with his family.

Nicholas Cage & Sergeant Ross

This picture is from 2001, shortly after my friend and I returned from our trip to New Orleans where we met Paul. Sergeant Ross, (that was our nickname for Paul because we thought he looked like David Schwimmer) emailed us this picture of him and Nicholas Cage. I just found it in my email and I thought I would share it with those who loved him.

May God be with you and your family. I did not know Paul, but Ive seen him on the news almost everyday, and he was such a nice man.
