Not sure what to say?

I used to work at Fidelity Homestead in Lakeview where Paul banked years ago. We used to look forward to seeing him and hearing his amusing stories. I wish I had known him better. I enjoyed seeing him on TV all the time. I used to tell everyone "I know that guy!" It's still so hard to believe.

TO THE FAMILY OF SGT. PAUL ACCARDO. I HAD THE EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH PAUL AT FAZZIO RAINBOW LANES. UPON VIEWING HIM FREQUENTLY ON T.V. HE HAS MADE ME PROUD THAT I KNEW HIM WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER AND WHAT A BEAUTIFUL ADULT HE HAD BECAME...SO MANY OF OUR CREW IS GONE NOW BUT, NEVER FORGOTTEN ABOUT...CONTINUAL PRAYERS ARE BEING LIFTED TO THIS FAMILY ...SORRY I FEEL YOUR LOST

Paul was the first friend I made here. I had been in New Orleans only a few months. We worked at Walmart together. He was only 19 at the time. He was a very important part of my life for a long time and helped me in more ways than he could've ever known. He encoureged me to pursue my dream of joining the police dept. and introduced me to my husband of 12 years now. I love you Paul..I still can't bring myself to erase your number from my cell phone.

Paul was a good friend of mine and he will be greatly missed. I think of him as a brother we were alot alike and even shared the same birthday. It will be hard this year coming when I don't get his telephone call to wish me a happy birthday. We rode together in NOPD and even though I left for another department we never stopped being friends and I will never forget you. I will miss you Paul and to your mother and brother I send my love and condolenses. You will be missed.

I am so very sad upon hearing of the death of Sgt. Accardo. I always saw him on TV and he was always such a peaceful presence. I was evacuated with my family in the aftermath of the storm and did not know of Sgt. Accardo's death until I saw a picture of his mother at his services in the TP today. I did not know Sgt. Accardo, although I felt as though I did. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I miss you. I love you.

I was fortunate enough to know Paul from way back in high school when he used to work at the Lake Forest Plaza Mall. I also lived in Lakeview and would see him from time to time at the local businesses.
I was in Lafayette when I heard the news. I was completely devastated. With all of the misinformation being communicated, I hoped and prayed that it wasn't true.
Whenever any event occured in the city, I waited to see Paul on television. He provided us with a lot of comfort...

I never met Paul, but i felt as if i lost a friend when i heard the news of what had happen to him. Whith all that was takeing place in our city at that time it was what happend with Paul that made me cry my heart out. He was like a friend on the TV always delievering his reports with such proffesionalism. He just seemed like a cool guy..

my condolence to the family. catherine, i wish i was near to come see you. my prayers are with you.
