Not sure what to say?

Unfortunately it's the toughest part of our time on earth. Much more so for the survivors. My heart is heavy for all of the family and I will not forget you in thought and prayer. To my old and cherrished friend Dirk and sister Kris, I love you guys. Be strong. Jon

To Bobbie and the Allgood family, you are all in our thoughts and prayers. I first met Rick at Benson High School when I was a sophomore. Then later, he coached our son Fred at Millard North High School. It was a pleasure for Diane and I to co-chair the Millard North Wrestling team boosters. R.I.P. Rick you will be missed.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Rick will be missed by so very many as he was a positive influence in so many young lives with his coaching.

Growing up in Omaha and going all the way back to grade school at Benson West he was my gym teacher. I have great memories of him growing up in the Benson area. He was a great guy and teacher. Thanks for the memories, Mr. Allgood. Tobi Beedle

rick was an awesome coach, year-round wrestling coach. I'm very happy that he was a big part of my life.the last time i talked to him was at Gils senior year state tourney,he was very proud to tell me how many gold silver and bronze medals his sons had won at state over the years.we were all blessed to have him in our lives.

I met Rick thru sports teams at Lincoln Southeast. He was always the "fun guy" to be around. Then I got to be his "pledge father" at the ATO house at Univ. of NE and loved his spirit and dedication. While in NE I met several people who benefited from his coaching at Bennington -- all of us agreed he was a very special person. I will morn his loss and pray for his family.

I was a student of Rick´s at BHS. He had a great deal of passion for helping kids succeed and excel in sports. My condolences to his family.

Thanks for the memories. Jason's father...
