Daddy I miss you and Mama!

I was thinking of people in my pass and Paul kept popping up and I finally googled him . Sorry to see he lost his life back then . I thought he was a respectful man and treated people like they treated him . This had to be in the 70´s he and my father work jobs together. The best way I could describe their relationship is army vs navy. I hope you receive this message.

Daddy today it's a year since you went up to heaven to be with Mama. We really miss you down here, but I know you are watching over us everyday. I know you are happy to be with Mama again and are at peace. I am so thankful for all the time we got to spend with you. We had so much enjoyment and wonderful memories: especially watching the Saints every Sunday, and barbaquing in the back yard, riding out to the Gulf coast for the day. "Just take a ride" ( like we did when I was a child), cruizing out by the lakefront (when I would come over after work), going to the Orange festival down in Plaquimine at the fort, eating out at your favorite places (Zea, Reginalli's, the Velet cactus, Commander's, and Oak Alley), feeding the ducks by Lakeview, all the holidays as well as spending time with our friends. This year went fast, but it still seems like you have been gone forever. Thank you and Mama for giving me such a wonderful life. Thank you for staying down here for another nine years to spend time with us. The memories and time together are the most precious gift you could have given me. I am so thankful for that. I know you were worried when you left about me "being ok". Well I can honestly say that "I am ok". I am happy and healthy. I have a great marriage and a blessed life. So , thank you Daddy. You are truly missed but I know I will see you and Mama someday again in heaven. Love, Missy

Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
In verdant pastures He gives me repose;
Besides restful waters He leads me;
He refreshes my soul.
He guides me in right paths
for His namesake.
Even though I walk in the dark valley
I fear no evil; for You are at my side
With Your rod and Your staff that
give me courage.
You spread the table before me
In the sight of my foes;
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Only goodness and kindness follow me
all the days of my life;
And I should dwell in the house of the
Lord forever.

A wonderful husband to Mrs. Rose May. A caring father to his daughters and a man who served his country and one that I am proud to have known these past 25+ years. He put up with me as though I was one of his own. He always gave me solid advice when I had no clue or thought I knew what I was talking about. I'm going to miss our talks Mr. Paul, my family and I miss you already.

I have so many great memories of Mr. Paul. He was so kind, and loved to do things with Missy and Darrell's friends and their friend's children too. He treated those children (including my daughter, Gianna) like his own grandchildren. Birthday parties won't be the same without Mr. Paul there. He was such a loving person, and will be missed very much.

It's hard to lose such a wonderful man. He was very gracious and treated my husband and I like family. He treated my kids like they were his own grandkids. They know him as Grandpa Paul. They were both very sad to hear of his passing. We all love him and will continue to miss him daily. R.I.P. Mr. Paul!
