Paul E. Baker, Jr. 66, of Ft. Madison passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 7:04 PM at Ft. Madison Community Hospital. He was born on December 7, 1950 in Ft. Madison to Paul E. and Betty Clem Baker, Sr. Paul was a self employed construction worker and worked in several areas in Southeast Iowa. He served in the US Army. Paul was a lifelong Iowa Hawkeye and St. Louis Cardinals fan and also enjoyed fishing and racing. Survivors include his son, Todd Baker of North Liberty; his grandson, Tyson Baker of North Liberty; his granddaughter, Taylor Grider of North Liberty; his mother, Betty Baker of Ft. Madison; two brothers, Tom (Cheryl) Baker and John Baker both of Ft. Madison; a sister, Connie (Jerry) Levandoske of Burlington; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Chad; a brother, Robert; a sister, Pam Bogert, and a longtime partner, Betty Montgomery. Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory and there will be no formal services at this time. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
